Welcome to our Website
St. Augustine's Church in Edgbaston, Birmingham, is an excellent example of Victorian Church architecture. It is a statutorily listed Grade II* building, a grade which is reserved for buildings of special architectural significance.
The Friends of St. Augustine's was established in 1978 and aims to help ensure that the building is preserved and enhanced for today's and future generations. Our achievements include helping with the cost of emergency repairs to the organ blower and contributions to the recent rewiring of the lighting and sound systems within the church.
Neither the state nor the Church of England contribute to the upkeep of St. Augustine's. It is maintained through the generosity of the church's congregation and the wider public, including our Charity. If you are interested in supporting this cause, please consider becoming a member of the Friends of St. Augustine's.
